Nine 250 g punnets per box, 2.3 kg net and 208 boxes on every Euro pallet. That is how Hortiberia supplies cherry tomatoes: a format designed so the product reaches the shelf without any intermediate handling at destination. For the retail buyer, packing at origin cuts repacking costs and waste; for the wholesaler, the box is light, stackable and quick to turn over. The group's growers produce it in south-eastern Spain, as conventional and as certified organic.

Available from October to May: October, November, December, January, February, March, April and May. This covers the autumn, winter and spring window, when European demand for cherry tomatoes holds steady and local production is scarce.

This pallet density is high for a tomato, which lowers the logistics cost per kilo shipped compared with the larger loose formats.
Cherry tomatoes travel at 7-8 °C. Being a small fruit they respond quickly to temperature changes, so loading should take place with the product already brought to temperature and the truck set point fixed. The group's growers work under GLOBALG.A.P. and IFS, or under the equivalent standards demanded by European retail, with traceability from plot to punnet and compliance with EU rules on residues, plant protection products and labelling. The organic line carries EU certification.
For shelf programmes with a fixed reference, Hortiberia can commit weekly volume by size for the whole season.
The Hortiberia Group brings together the drive and experience of four market leaders from the sector in order to consolidate a project with a great future.
