Bags of 100 g, twenty-five to a box. Hortiberia's snack tomatoes are packed for direct consumption, with no preparation, in the convenience channel and impulse sales: neighbourhood stores, cafés, catering and the ready-to-eat sections of retail. This is a small tomato eaten whole, and the single-serve bag matches that pattern of consumption far better than a loose or punnet format would. The group's growers produce it in south-eastern Spain as conventional and certified organic.

September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April and May. Nine months of supply that overlap with the cherry and cherry plum season, so snack tomatoes can be built into the same small-tomato programme.
Sizes are 22 and 23, a narrow range that gives each bag a uniform content. The pack is as follows:
The bag arrives ready to hang or place in a display unit, which removes any weighing or packing at destination and makes the logistics cost per selling unit predictable from origin.
Transport at 7-8 °C. With a product sold in a closed pack, condensation from sudden temperature changes is the main risk to appearance, so the cold chain should be held without breaks from loading to display. The group's growers work under GLOBALG.A.P. and IFS or the equivalent standards demanded by retail, with traceability by lot and plot and compliance with EU rules on residues, plant protection products and labelling. The organic line carries EU certification.
For convenience operators working with fixed references, Hortiberia can schedule snack tomatoes by week with committed volume for the whole season.
The Hortiberia Group brings together the drive and experience of four market leaders from the sector in order to consolidate a project with a great future.
