Courgettes are one of the lines Hortiberia supplies in both organic and conventional form, grown by the group's producers in south-east Spain and graded by diameter so that retail, wholesale and food service buyers can each fix a precise specification. The product is packed at origin and exported to the EU, the UK and neighbouring markets that work under EU rules.

Courgettes are available from January to July, in October and in December. Buyers planning year-round programmes should treat August, September and November as months to cover from other origins.
The smallest grade meets demand for small courgettes in retail and the restaurant trade, the middle grade is the standard retail size, and the largest goes mainly to wholesale markets and processors.
Standard packing is a cardboard box, either 5 kg loose or 5 kg film-wrapped, in both cases at 120 boxes per Euro pallet and 150 per 100×120 pallet.
Courgettes are chilling-sensitive and show pitting and softening within days if held too cold. The recommended transport temperature is 7-10 °C, maintained through to the receiving depot so the skin arrives firm and glossy.
Organic courgettes are certified under the EU organic regulation and kept identified and separate from conventional stock throughout. The group's growers work under GLOBALG.A.P. and IFS, with lot and plot traceability and full compliance with EU maximum residue levels, plant protection and labelling requirements, alongside the equivalent standards European retailers impose.
Grade split and organic share can be programmed with Hortiberia's commercial team and reviewed weekly through the season.
The Hortiberia Group brings together the drive and experience of four market leaders from the sector in order to consolidate a project with a great future.
