For buyers who need smooth-leaf white cabbage in the depth of the European winter, Hortiberia pools the production of its member growers in the Region of Murcia and delivers it through a single point of contact. It is a high-rotation line, on the fresh shelf as much as in coleslaw and prepared-salad processing, and open-field cultivation in south-east Spain covers the months when local northern crops are finished.

Cabbage is supplied in December, January, February, March and April. Over this five-month window the weekly programme is agreed at the start of the season and adjusted as harvest progresses, with volumes confirmed ahead of each loading.
Heads are graded by count: 6, 8 and 10 per box. Available presentations are:
Each Euro pallet takes 52 boxes and the 100×120 pallet 65. Both conventional and EU-certified organic production are available, so one platform can receive both listings with identical logistics.
Transport is at 1-3 °C. The group's growers cool the cabbage after cutting and hold the cold chain to the loading bay so that heads arrive firm, with no dehydration of the outer leaves. Goods are identified by lot and plot, comply with EU maximum residue levels and labelling, and come from farms working under GLOBALG.A.P. and IFS or the equivalent standards required by retail chains.
Adding white cabbage to a winter programme is a matter of defining count, packaging and truck frequency; the rest of the operation is handled by Hortiberia's commercial structure, which coordinates cutting across the group's growers and keeps the buyer informed of crop progress week by week.
The Hortiberia Group brings together the drive and experience of four market leaders from the sector in order to consolidate a project with a great future.
