Calendar from July to December

Six months of availability allow scheduling from the first summer cuts through to December deliveries, with weekly review of volumes and sizes as the season develops. Buyers who need grapes for the Christmas period should fix those volumes early, since demand across Europe concentrates in the final weeks of the calendar.

Sizes and pack formats

Grapes are graded by berry diameter into three sizes: L (16/20 mm), XL (22/26 mm) and XXL (28/30 mm). They are packed in cardboard or wooden boxes, with the following weight options:

  • 4.5 kg bag or 5 kg loose.
  • 7 kg bag or 9 kg loose.
  • 9 kg bag or 10 kg loose.
  • Flow pack, 10 × 500 g.
  • Flow pack, 10 × 1 kg.

Flow packs target the self-service shelf with fixed weight; bags and loose formats cover wholesale and the hospitality channel.

Transport and guarantees

The recommended transport temperature is 1-3 °C, with the cold chain maintained from packing. The group's growers work under GLOBALG.A.P. and IFS and the equivalent standards required by retailers, with lot and farm traceability and compliance with EU regulations on residues, plant protection products and labelling. Each pallet carries the origin and packing documentation needed for goods-in checks.

Grape programmes are closed before the summer, with the option of combining sizes and formats by season stage according to destination.

The Hortiberia Group brings together the drive and experience of four market leaders from the sector in order to consolidate a project with a great future.
