With ten months of availability a year, raspberries are among the fruit lines with the widest calendar in Hortiberia's catalogue. For buyers who need berries through most of the year, this reference reduces origin changes and keeps a stable format on the shelf.

Hortiberia raspberries are available from January to June and from September to December. Only July and August fall outside the window. This two-part structure makes it possible to programme autumn, winter and spring supply with a single supplier and to cover only the core of summer from other origins.
We work raspberries in 10 mm and 18 mm sizes. The pack is the one retail buyers expect for berries: a cardboard box with 12 lidded 125 g baskets, palletised at 240 boxes per Euro pallet. It is the same format we use for blueberries, which helps buyers standardise the logistics of both references and simplify replenishment in store.
Raspberries travel at 2-3 °C. They are among the most delicate fruit in the catalogue, with a shelf life that depends heavily on rapid cooling after harvest and an unbroken cold chain to the customer's platform. The group's producers operate under standards such as GLOBALG.A.P. and IFS, with lot and plot traceability that identifies the origin of every basket. The product complies with EU rules on maximum residue levels, labelling and plant protection products.
For a year-round berry programme, Hortiberia can work through with the buyer the combination of raspberries, blueberries and strawberries that best fits their shelf calendar, with the weekly deliveries each platform requires.
The Hortiberia Group brings together the drive and experience of four market leaders from the sector in order to consolidate a project with a great future.
