Mangos

Mangos are supplied from January to December with no gaps in the calendar. This allows buyers to plan annual programmes with steady weekly volumes or to concentrate orders in peak-demand periods without changing supplier. As with all fresh fruit, the specific volumes for each period are agreed with the buyer according to availability at the time.

We work sizes 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 14, so buyers can choose between large pieces for sale by the unit and smaller sizes for price-point formats. Packaging is a single option: a 4 kg single-layer cardboard tray, at 176 boxes per Euro pallet and 220 per 100×120 pallet. The single layer limits contact between pieces and protects the skin during transport.

The transport temperature indicated for this reference is 1-2 °C. The group's producers work under standards such as GLOBALG.A.P. and IFS, with traceability by lot and plot, so every box can be followed back to its origin. The product complies with EU rules on maximum residue levels, labelling and plant protection products, a requirement shared by every market Hortiberia exports to.
